5.5×Growth in observed landing-page search impressions

Search Console, Business Profile performance, recorded observations, call tracking, and CRM data measure different parts of the customer journey. We show each source separately instead of forcing them into one flattering number.

Why this system was built

The reports looked fine, but the phones told a different story. That contradiction is what forced us to stop trusting one snapshot and start documenting the mobile market.

7-Day Result Snapshot

South Beach Auto Accident Attorney, Miami Beach (carcrashinjuryfirm.com). These results landed in the first 7 days of the 30-day sprint.

Search Console logged 0 clicks for the week impressions rose; the Business Profile logged 22 website clicks and 17 calls for the month. The two tools count differently, so we show both rather than pick the flattering one.

Before you chase a ranking

The 3-Pack Is No Longer the Whole Local Search Battlefield

Grid reports measure where a client ranks when a classic pack appears. They say nothing about the searches where Google replaces the pack with an AI Overview or a sponsored module. Below: same phone, same Miami Beach street corner, three searches — not one showed a classic map pack. We record the surface that actually appeared, so you can show the client reality instead of defending a grid.

See Google Through Your Customers’ Eyes

Real, unedited recordings from a controlled Android device pinned to Flamingo / Lummus, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Tap to play.

AI Overview took the pack

“personal injury lawyer near me”

Sponsored placements, then an AI Overview with its own map and shortlist of firms. No classic 3-pack appeared.

AI Overview took the pack

“personal injury lawyer open now”

Sponsored placements, then an AI Overview that names two firms and hands out their phone numbers. No classic 3-pack appeared.

AI Overview took the pack

“best car accident attorney”

Sponsored results, then an AI Overview with a map and firms Google chose. Again, no classic 3-pack.

A grid report that says you rank #3 tells you nothing about the searches where the pack never loaded. We record every observation so you see what the customer saw, surface by surface.

Defensible methodology

Why the Evidence Fleet Is Android-Only

Your client needs a reproducible measurement cohort—not a bigger device count with weaker controls.

Apple can provide precise location, but iOS also supports per-app reduced accuracy; Apple says reduced-accuracy location is usually within 1–20 kilometers of the actual location. Android also supports approximate access. The distinction is therefore not “iPhone inaccurate, Android accurate.” The distinction is whether the measurement state can be provisioned, verified, logged, and rejected consistently before a result reaches the client report.

Standardized first. Cross-platform second. Our current Android fleet gives us the control plane required to apply one preflight standard across every account observation.

We do not present the Android cohort as a census of every phone in the market. When an iOS fleet can pass the same automated gates, it will be reported as a separate comparison cohort—not blended into the Android baseline.

Client-ready chain of custody

Every counted observation passes the same controls.

Controlled Android cohort
  1. 01Target coordinate loggedThe intended market point is attached to the observation record.
  2. 02Geo state validatedDevice location and network geography must satisfy the account tolerance.
  3. 03Surface and app state confirmedChrome, Google app, or Google Maps is identified before the result is counted.
  4. 04Evidence package attachedVideo, screenshot, timestamp, result state, and metadata form the receipt.
  5. 05Exceptions are quarantinedFailed preflight or incomplete evidence never enters the client aggregate.
Why this matters in the client meeting

You can explain exactly what the cohort measures, what it does not claim, and why every included observation met the same standard. That is stronger than saying “we used more phones” without proving the measurement state underneath them.

Technical source note

Apple documents per-app precise/reduced location controls, while Android documents precise and approximate permission levels. Apple’s separate carrier-privacy setting does not alter location shared with apps through Location Services.

Agency protections

Your client stays your client

The commercial relationship, branding, and strategic ownership remain with your agency.

Not unless you explicitly authorize direct communication for delivery. We do not market competing services to the client or attempt to move the account away from your agency.

Yes. White-label deliverables can be prepared with your agency identity, client-facing language, and an executive summary suitable for your client meeting.

No. The sprint is positioned as done-for-you infrastructure. Your team provides the necessary account context and approved access; we handle the agreed observation and recovery workflow.

Because the current Android fleet can be provisioned and validated against one repeatable preflight standard across device location, network geography, app surface, and evidence capture. We do not claim Android represents every phone. iOS will be added as a separate cohort only when it can pass the same controls. See the full methodology.

Yes. The initial model is deliberately account-specific. A successful rescue can then become the basis for additional territories, locations, or portfolio rollout.

Stop Defending the Dashboard. Start Showing Proof.

Bring us the difficult local SEO account. We will determine whether it is a fit for the inaugural 30-day rescue cohort.
